On the SBAM Weekly Podcast, Michael Rogers talks with Todd Wallis and Missey Trudell, owners of Paper Image Printing Center. The Small Business Association of Michigan recently honored Paper Image with its 2021 Consumers Energy, Energy Champion award. Wallis says the Consumers Energy savings program sounds, at first, too good to be true. “But it is good, it is true,” he says. “There's no traps, there shouldn't be any skepticism. It just saves you money, it saves energy, it's a win-win.”

On this week’s SBAM Weekly Podcast, Michael Rogers talks with Bill Ellis, owner of Innovative Computers and a VIP member of the Small Business Association in Michigan. As a technology solutions provider, he says he is seeing many customers moving, post-COVID,  to a hybrid work-from-home, work-in-the-office solution. “They're bringing people in for two to three days a week right now seeing how it lasts,” he says. “Some of them were talking about probably never coming back in on Fridays, because it gives [employees] a chance to cut out early when things are done because they don't have to travel.”

They are a VIP member of the Small Business Association of Michigan and were recently named a member of the 2021 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch. “COVID kind of accelerated a trend that we were already observing in the marketplace, which is that now manufacturers and distributors are shipping right to people's doorsteps,” he says. “We have to make the packaging so that it can transit anywhere in the world.”
